- 6 cups water
- 6 Mixed Berries & Hibiscus bags
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice (about 3 lemons)
- 1/4 cup Simple Syrup
An Arnold Palmer - it's the drink that joins our two national refreshments - lemonade and ice tea. We're adding a slight spin to Martha Stewart's Strawberry Hibiscus recipe and recommend using our Mixed Berries & Hibiscus for a flavour burst of different berries. It's the perfect recipe that works well for serving large groups at any summertime event.
Bring water to a simmer in a small saucepan. Remove from heat, add teabags, and steep for 30 minutes. Discard teabags, and pour tea into a pitcher. Chill it for an hour or more making sure it cools completely. Add lemon juice and simple syrup to the pitcher, and stir to combine. Divide juice among ice-filled glasses. (Or cover, and refrigerate for up to 3 days.).
